MSU Program in Public Health

globe_in_hands_layers_150MSU has a strong combination of academic expertise in health-related disciplines with a well-established mechanism for outreach from its origins as a land-grant university. In support of the land-grant mission, the PPH focuses on making public health education and training available throughout the state with a variety of teaching strategies.

"Who would have imagined 150 years ago…that we would become the global prototype of a genuinely American brand of higher education—one that is an engine of the economy, a force for democratization of public learning, the model for engagement with the world beyond the campus, and a catalyst for improving the quality of life in Michigan and around the keyworld."
